कबियो बाच बेनती ॥ चौपई ॥
kabiyo baach benatee | chauapee |
Protect me O Lord! with Thine own Hands
हमरी करो हाथ दै रच्छा ॥
hamaree karo haath dai rachhaa |
all the desires of my heart be fulfilled.
पूरन होइ चित की इच्छा ॥
pooran hoe chit kee ichhaa |
Let my mind rest under Thy Feet
तव चरनन मन रहै हमारा ॥
tav charanan man rahai hamaaraa |
Sustain me, considering me Thine own.377.
अपना जान करो प्रतिपारा ॥३७७॥
apanaa jaan karo pratipaaraa |377|
Destroy, O Lord! all my enemies and
हमरे दुसट सभै तुम घावहु ॥
hamare dusatt sabhai tum ghaavahu |
protect me with Thine won Hnads.
आपु हाथ दै मोहि बचावहु ॥
aap haath dai mohi bachaavahu |
May my family live in comfort
सुखी बसै मोरो परिवारा ॥
sukhee basai moro parivaaraa |
and ease alongwith all my servants and disciples.378.
सेवक सिक्ख सभै करतारा ॥३७८॥
sevak sikh sabhai karataaraa |378|
Protect me O Lord! with Thine own Hands
मो रच्छा निज कर दै करियै ॥
mo rachhaa nij kar dai kariyai |
and destroy this day all my enemies
सभ बैरन को आज संघरियै ॥
sabh bairan ko aaj sanghariyai |
May all the aspirations be fulfilled
पूरन होइ हमारी आसा ॥
pooran hoe hamaaree aasaa |
Let my thirst for Thy Name remain afresh.379.
तोर भजन की रहै पिआसा ॥३७९॥
tor bhajan kee rahai piaasaa |379|
I may remember none else except Thee
तुमहि छाडि कोई अवर न धियाऊं ॥
tumeh chhaadd koee avar na dhiyaaoon |
And obtain all the required boons from Thee
जो बर चहों सु तुम ते पाऊं ॥
jo bar chahon su tum te paaoon |
Let my servants and disciples cross the world-ocean
सेवक सिक्ख हमारे तारीअहि ॥
sevak sikh hamaare taareeeh |
All my enemies be singled out and killed.380.
चुनि चुनि सत्र हमारे मारीअहि ॥३८०॥
chun chun satr hamaare maareeeh |380|
Protect me O Lord! with Thine own Hands and
आप हाथ दै मुझै उबरियै ॥
aap haath dai mujhai ubariyai |
relieve me form the fear of death
मरन काल का त्रास निवरियै ॥
maran kaal kaa traas nivariyai |
May Thou ever Bestow Thy favours on my side
हूजो सदा हमारे पच्छा ॥
hoojo sadaa hamaare pachhaa |
Protect me O Lord! Thou, the Supreme Destroyer.381.
स्री असिधुज जू करियहु रच्छा ॥३८१॥
sree asidhuj joo kariyahu rachhaa |381|
Protect me, O Protector Lord!
राखि लेहु मुहि राखनहारे ॥
raakh lehu muhi raakhanahaare |
Most dear, the Protector of the Saints:
साहिब संत सहाइ पियारे ॥
saahib sant sahaae piyaare |
Friend of poor and the Destroyer of the enemies
दीन बंधु दुसटन के हंता ॥
deen bandh dusattan ke hantaa |
Thou art the Master of the fourteen worlds.382.
तुम हो पुरी चतुरदस कंता ॥३८२॥
tum ho puree chaturadas kantaa |382|
In due time Brahma appeared in physical form
काल पाइ ब्रहमा बपु धरा ॥
kaal paae brahamaa bap dharaa |
In due time Shiva incarnated
काल पाइ सिव जू अवतरा ॥
kaal paae siv joo avataraa |
In due time Vishnu manifested himself
काल पाइ कर बिसनु प्रकासा ॥
kaal paae kar bisan prakaasaa |
All this is the play of the Temporal Lord.383.
सकल काल का कीआ तमासा ॥३८३॥
sakal kaal kaa keea tamaasaa |383|
The Temporal Lord, who created Shiva, the Yogi
जवन काल जोगी सिव कीओ ॥
javan kaal jogee siv keeo |
Who created Brahma, the Master of the Vedas
बेद राज ब्रहमा जू थीओ ॥
bed raaj brahamaa joo theeo |
The Temporal Lord who fashioned the entire world
जवन काल सभ लोक सवारा ॥
javan kaal sabh lok savaaraa |
I salute the same Lord.384.
नमसकार है ताहि हमारा ॥३८४॥
namasakaar hai taeh hamaaraa |384|
The Temporal Lord, who created the whole world
जवन काल सभ जगत बनायो ॥
javan kaal sabh jagat banaayo |
Who created gods, demons and yakshas
देव दैत जच्छन उपजायो ॥
dev dait jachhan upajaayo |
He is the only one form the beginning to the end
आदि अंति एकै अवतारा ॥
aad ant ekai avataaraa |
I consider Him only my Guru.385.
सोई गुरू समझियहु हमारा ॥३८५॥
soee guroo samajhiyahu hamaaraa |385|
I salute Him, non else, but Him
नमसकार तिस ही को हमारी ॥
namasakaar tis hee ko hamaaree |
Who has created Himself and His subject
सकल प्रजा जिन आप सवारी ॥
sakal prajaa jin aap savaaree |
He bestows Divine virtues and happiness on His servants
सिवकन को सिवगुन सुख दीओ ॥
sivakan ko sivagun sukh deeo |
He destroys the enemies instantly.386.
सत्रुन को पल मो बध कीओ ॥३८६॥
satrun ko pal mo badh keeo |386|
He knows the inner feelings of every heart
घट घट के अंतर की जानत ॥
ghatt ghatt ke antar kee jaanat |
He knows the anguish of both good and bad
भले बुरे की पीर पछानत ॥
bhale bure kee peer pachhaanat |
From the ant to the solid elephant
चीटी ते कुंचर असथूला ॥
cheettee te kunchar asathoolaa |
He casts His Graceful glance on all and feels pleased.387.
सभ पर क्रिपा द्रिसटि करि फूला ॥३८७॥
sabh par kripaa drisatt kar foolaa |387|
He is painful, when He sees His saints in grief
संतन दुख पाए ते दुखी ॥
santan dukh paae te dukhee |
He is happy, when His saints are happy.
सुख पाए साधुन के सुखी ॥
sukh paae saadhun ke sukhee |
He knows the agony of everyone
एक एक की पीर पछानैं ॥
ek ek kee peer pachhaanain |
