Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was the tenth Sikh Guru—a master poet, military strategist, saint-warrior, and spiritual leader.

On Vaisakhi 1699 at Anandpur Sahib, he created the order of the Khalsa Panth, initiating the Panj Pyare with Amrit and bestowing the 5 Ks (Kesh, Kangha, Kara, Kachhera, Kirpan) along with the titles Singh and Kaur.
